I just completed the game, but apparently something happens at the end if you "Rank Up." Does anybody know what it is or means?

Oh, and if anyone needs help with the game, I can try and help.

Don't think anything really happens if you beat the game with the hidden ranks, I think the only reward is that badge for Mario and Luigi and that item for Bowser.

I'm going to try it. My Bowser needs to get to 40, and then I'm beating the game again. I'll see after that I guess.
