Topic: Letter back from XSEED (RetroGameChallenge2)

Hello Chris,
Thanks for the kind words, but afraid it's not by choice on us not bringing over Retro Game Challenge 2 at this point when we're certain to lose money on it.
No company can continue to exist if they take on projects they know they're going to lose money on, so as much as all of us here love the series and would like nothing more than to work on the sequel, afraid it's not going to happen anytime soon.

This is the letter I sent them:

I have recently read several web sites that have stated that the >localization of Retro Game Challenge 2 will possible not be brought to >America or even translated into English. This is sad news but very understandable. I hope the same doesn't happen to the Starfy series outside of Japan too. I figured some people on this site would be interested to see this so I posted it.

I'm sure some people were interested, but the title was pretty niche and I'm not sure it sold that well. It never hurts to petition a company for a release, but unless there is a large call for it I doubt it'll happen

Oh yeah but heck it was worth the try at least. I think it actually sold decently but if they cant make money on it its just not worth it. Its a Awesome game that so many missed out on.
