Topic: Kirby: Mass Attack

It's Frozen Hillside and that...desert track...forget the name. My mind keeps wanting to call it Sandy Plains from Tri. xD
Probably others too, haven't fully completed the game though.

I like this kid. Brawlball is way fun! I think it's the only Mini Game for me I can keep playing over and over.

how is Kirby Quest?

Pretty great game.

Music is pretty meh so far though.

I'm loving the game so far. The touch screen controls are great. I've only gotten 1 minigame so far and it's awesome. The music is pretty cool and the graphics/animation are so good! I'm so glad I bought this. Kirby never disappoints.

...Ok this game just DID NOT go all Metroid Prime on me did it? (...collecting medals to move on, lol)
...Volcano's boss was fun though.

Love this game. Definitely one of the best I've played this year.

Was very pleasant and nice of them to use Sky Sand's track theme from Kirby's Air Ride. Surprised they used it.

And very nice to see Escargoon from the anime make a cameo in one of the extra games

Have you seen the episode in the anime where Kirby and Dedede gain a ton of weight and this trainer guy helps them work it off? Well that guy is an enemy in the RPG mini game. I was very surprised when I saw it

And yes, I saw him TJ. I didn't know he was in the anime though. Good to know though because for some reason it reminded me of Paper Mario. These extra games have lots of depth. Wish Kirby Brawlball was on DSiWare. Would love to have that with me at all times without the Game card.

How do you skip scenes entirely? I think I'm gonna be taking a few deaths here against the final boss. xD
But yeah, I don't wanna have to keep going through that scene before the actual battle every single time...

I'm on the last stage now. Never expected more Kirby's Air Ride music. But it fits in. Wish Checker Knights was in though.

If you can't skip the scene with Start, then you're going to have to sit through.

I saw the trailer and got incredibly excited, especially when the Kirbys got giant. You bet I can't wait to play!

I'm on the final world. This is possibly one of my favorite Kirby games ever!
Everything is great. The animations are so charming! I love the music too. It doesn't really "feel" like it belongs in a Kirby game, but some tracks do and overall I think the soundtrack is great.
I was worried this was going to be some boring lemmings style game, but it turns this game is so much better than that! You have pretty much all the control you would over Kirby with buttons. I love that! The challenge is pretty good too. I wasn't expecting much since it's Kirby but I've actually died a few times. Nothing really hard though. Just a bit above average.
The mini games are just beyond awesome. I love BrawlBall and Strato Patrol EOS. I could play both for hours! Dash course gets a bit addicting too.
I was disappointed there was no 'eat and get ability' thing like normal, but this game more than makes up for that. It's still just as fun as a classic kirby game. I love it!

Is it just me, or does anyone else think this would have been better off as a Pikmin Spinoff than a Kirby game?
I know we're all starved for a Pikmin 3, but a side scrolling pikmin platformer would have been sweet.

No, because Pikmin isn't exactly a series where you can make up stuff like "this character got turned into multiple versions of himself because of a skull wizard thing!" out of no where and no one will question it.

I can't see Pikmin being a sidescroller anyways...but like KK said, the random events that happen are better suited for Kirby. Because no one cares if he gets split into 10 Kirbies...or gets turned into a ball with a magical pen that guides him....or hets turned into....yarn.

Anyways...getting close to completing...Level 1. xD (as in, all medals and gold stars)

I just realized that most recent Kirby stories are basically "WIZARD TURNS YOU INTO A GIMMICK VIDEO GAME, GO FIX YOURSELF KIRBY!"

kind of a shame as Kirby storylines used to be pretty good by the absurdly low standards of 2d platformer stories

Yeah enemy invades, use the special weapon. Pretty good stories indeed.

Yup, King Dedede stole all the fruit so we got to get it back was an amazing story.
At least the things the wizards are turning Kirby into are creative.

Also how the heck did Dedede turn all of Dreamland into Pinball? Lol
