Topic: I GOT NOSTALGIA!

dude trust me--living in Austin you meet plenty of dippers. While I used to smoke cigarettes (still do when drinking gets the better of me) which may very well instill bias, dipping is so much more disgusting in my opinion. Most of my red-neckier (read: more stereotypical by-the-letter) friends dip, and I'm never without a witty dig at their sickening habit. You gotta own a cowboy hat though....my mental picture's gonna be totally off if you don't. Shit I do and I wear Tecmo Bowl T-shirts to work events.

I've never worn a cowboy hat, or boots. I don't dip. I used to smoke until I was 28. I've never been on a horse, and I'm about as non-Texan as you can get. In fact, if you could get kicked out of Texas for being un-cowboy, I'd have been kicked out a long time ago.

No, I don't wear a cowboy hat. I ain't from out west. I'm from Western NC and people wear hats, but I don't see a lot of people with cowboy hats. You see a lot of pickup trucks though I'll tell you that. That's the only thing I've ever drove before anyways. I barely ever drive a car.

I've gone to Texas for years and years! You don't need a cowboy hat! btw, that rpggamer review sucked. It deserves way more than a 2.5/5 or 5/10, depending on how you put it. It's a totally awesomesauce game!

@Corbie - alright man horses are just plain fun to ride--aside from the initial testicular tumult, it's quite a nice experience (and you know Austin--it's pretty suburban) I actually own the Cowboy hat from dressing up as "myself" in highschool (lived in Maryland and my nickname was Tex) and ironically bought it in Maryland.

@cheetah - i know i know; first thing I drove was a manual Saturn....I'm sure that is just bursting with Texanism...

Aye now I dipped for years and I aint no rednek lol. Seriously though I am a little country but I dont listen to country music, but I do ride horses and have a truck and wear jeans and work boots to work everyday but I am no cowboy at all. lol.

I wear blue jeans all the time. Some of 'em's even got a little wear and tear but I don't care. Now if the holes get real big, then is the time for new jeans. You should also see all the chickens in my yard.They're my neighbors but they sure love to come up to the yard. Same for the cats. I can't even count how many wild cats hang around.

And just so you know, I knew this game wasn't for me right from the start. For me, doing something new is very important, since RPGs are two long for me to invest my time in unless they're exceptional.

well this game is exceptional, and the airship aspect is very unique. If you are in any way whatsoever a fan of rpgs, get this. Now to turn off the computer and go play TWEWY...

TWEWY I was dying to get my hands on and ended up very unimpressed. It was literally too Japanese for my taste. Im very finiky about my RPS i guess.

To mean, it just seems generic, and to me, generic is by no means 'exceptional'. And I am by no means an RPG 'fan', I just like to play RPGs that happen to interest me.

Yeah, I couldn't get into TWEWY, either. Not only was the story to anime-ish for my tastes, I was incredibly overwhelmed by the battle system, and leveling system, and all the other gobble-dee-gook they threw in there. It was simply incomprehencible to me. I'm still glad they make games like that these days, but I have to say, they finally discovered how to be too unique. I loved the artstyle, though, and the music was actually good enough to convince me to get the soundtrack!

@mickeymac.... you dean one there the soundtrack was phenominal and the artstyle is fantastic. I had the exact same problem. It literally had too much going on for me for a RPG..... Ive heard of people putting hundreds of hours into the game and it sold very well and Im glad because a LOT of love went into developing the game.

TWEWY is amazing I love the battles and how confusing and messed up they are
