I agree with most of what has been said. It was too long in places, yes, frustrating at times, YES. But ultimately it's completing these kind of games that give me more satisfaction.

I hope for a sequel... but I'm intrigued how far the game could actually be taken - what new mechanics could be brought into it without ruining the puzzle/platformer combo that works so well.

I actually have a question about the game. My shoulder buttons are broken, so is there a way to access the shop without the shoulder buttons?

No.
Licking your shoulder buttons at the corners might work, though. It did for me anyways.
