I have it. It plays fine and is actually pretty fun.

As for the music.... well... lol the music itself sounds fine, it's just the weird organ sound they used to replace the vocals... It just sounds so bad.
But I forgive this complaint because it's Nintendo's fault this happened (DSiWare size limit is 20MB) Not Gamelofts.

If you like rhythm games, it's a good buy if you can just get over the crappy organ vocal thing. lol

I downloaded it as well.I thought the lack of vocals would be annoying but I really didn't care because of how much fun I was having. The only problem I had at all was repetition of songs in career mode.Apart from that its a really good game and ,I'm going to go ahead and say it, A perfect substitute for Guitar Hero on the DSi.

hrm, actually, i got "Brain Age Express: Sudoku" tonight and I am loving it... don't think I'll purchase this Guitar game, tho. Not my cup of tea (though I did love Elite Beat Agents.)

The game kind of grows on you after a while. Especially with the funny magazine covers you can put your face on!

The music is my biggest complaint. It took a bit to get past the lack of vocals. After that, the FM Synthesis from 1995 started driving me nuts. (What people like to call the "organ" sound.) This is 2009. We've had wave table technology for MIDI playback for nearly 15 years! Not to mention that MOD Tracking is older than the hills... (/me remembers playing All That She Wants with vocals on a DOS-based 486...)

Yes it's out for NA. It jumped into the top 20 right away, so I guess people what this type of game.

Again it's a shame they couldn't include vocals, but I don't blame Gameloft at all. I blame Nintendo.

Odnetnin... so do u think Guitar Rock Tour is worth the 500 pts to download? I have enough for that and Pop+Solo and another 500 pt title...

As long as you're not expecting too much, I think that you'll be pleasantly surprised by GRT. It's just like Asphalt 4: Really well done, fun to play, but rather shallow. If you're ok with that, you'll enjoy it. Especially once you realize the surprising breadth of this game. I was personally shocked at how many options I had on the main menu screen. It's not something you really expect from a company like GameLoft.

(Though I should probably note that GameLoft is getting really good at their trade. They may make cheap cash-in games, but at least they're very entertaining cheap cash-in games!)

Sounds great! I am loving gameloft, too!

Just downloaded Guitar Rock Tour after watching some YouTube reviews and videos of it on dsi... Loving it so far! And I normally don't really love these types of games. (I do love Elite Beat Agents, however.) At $5, you def get your money's worth here. Lots to unlock, lots to play, hours of fun. I give this a 7 out of 10 stars, so far. Need to plday it more!

Hoorah! Another person convinced to download this game. I almost dislocated my fingers drumming in hard mode.

FATEM

Grumble

Haha! You and me both...

Seriously, though... what a great value for $5! I don't know why more ppl aren't playing this... Wait. I guess they are. It has debuted pretty high up on the most downloaded list... Just started Rome!
