well someone got sharpie on my dsi screen so i used rubbing achohol to remove it and it worked but when i turned on my dsi it was not too pretty. my dsi touch screen appears to be stained by the rubbing alcohol( the inside if it) this most likely happened when i was trying to remove the sharpie on the edge.... uhhh what should i do? send to Nintendo or try to remove the stain by disassembling the dsi and removing the stain on the screen(which i know would void warranty so i dont think that be a good idea), if i send to Nintendo how long would it take to get it back? please someone help me
Hmmm. Well probably a good idea to take out the batterys to make sure you don't fry anything. Maybe letting it dry out for awhile will help. 24hrs maybe ( don't know how much got in there.) (Thought i heard something about that for gbas that get wet (dropped in water?) I dropped a gba a in water once and probably just didn't quite do it THAT long. (Still works) My worry is that you might get residue in there from the alcohal.
Atleast you didn't do what i did and get WD 40 in it. (I was trying to make a shoulder button work better/Work?(sprayed from outside, i think) and somehow the stuff got into the screen. Amazing huh? That's some Bad luck.
Yeah, in a bunch of other threads, he's posted something like "yeah i agree...now can someone please go look at my thread I'm tired of being ignnored."
I've managed to keep my DS touch screen free from fingerprints, but then this weekend my friend asked if he could take a look at it, I said sure just don't touch the screen there's a pen for that. But OBVIOUSLY he's hearing impaired, while scrolling right and left on the DSi menu he used his fingers.
Now how do I remove the fingerprints without scratching the surface?

@Firkraag:No screen proction? Us a microfiber cloth,or cd cloth i'd think.
What do I need a screen protection for when I would never stain it by myself, never underestimate the stupidity of friends though, and they wonder why I'm so obsessively protective of my things.
I'll try a microfiber cloth meant for cleaning glasses tomorrow then when the store is open.
