@Tasuki - If you're looking for a challenging platformer, try tracking down N+. That should keep you busy for a little while. I haven't heard a lot about (Castlevania) Portrait of Ruin, but Order of Ecclesia is supposed to be pretty nice. I don't have any of the Castlevania games though, so I'm probably not the person to b etalking to. Other games that I find are good time-wasters are the following: Picross DS Picross 3D Geometry Wars: Galaxies Ninjatown
Not going to skim 4 pages of it here, but if it hasn't been mentioned already I got an obscure one that's terrible to look at but gameplay makes up for it, and then kind of a sequel to a title on the system and longer in the PC world.
The eyesore is Lionel Trains On Track which looks like a low end GBA game, but the maps, trains, building options, track laying, research, and the rest is virtually the same as the original PC version of RAILROAD TYCOON, so if you loved that old game this one is a big buy and at $7 USED at gamestop, it's not a pocket buster by any means.
The sequel comes from the 'Anno' line of 'age of discovery and sailing' type period games and it's Dawn of Discovery which has a campaign mode or a free map mode where you build up. You raise up colonies, set trade routes, develop technologies, advance your people from peasants to rich or whatever. It's like a 1500s version of Sim City, but you have to deal with corsairs/pirates so you need to make a few defenses on land or sea. It's well done, quite a grab, and is like $20 these days new.

Ok well I just recently started to have to take a half hour bus/train ride to work each day, so I decide to dust of my DS. Now I only have the original Model DS, (I am really not that interested in the DSi since I cant play any of my GBA games on it) and one DS game which is Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow.
I can really use some suggestions as to some other games. I am looking for some platform games like Dawn of Sorrow, My friend suggested the Megaman Zero Collection but I have never played any of them. I am opened minded to pretty much any game out there. Are the other Castlevanias any good??
Thanks in advanced.
yes both of the others are great and if i say so my self my favorite games are 1.kingdom hearts 358/2 days 2.the world ends with you 3.final fantasy 4 4.final fantasy crystal chronicles echos of time 5.final fantasy crystal chronicles rings of fate 6.final fantasy tactics advance 2 7.final fantasy 12 revenant wings 8.final fantasy 3 9.dragon ball z attack of the sayians 10.elite beat agents
Well I dont need the Final Fantasy 4 remake on DS since I have it on GBA I might get it down the road but for right now I am looking for something new. How are the other Final Fantasy games are they close to the SNES ones or are they more like the PS one cause I cant stand the PS Final Fantasy games. The only newer Final Fantasy game I liked was Crystal Chronicles on Gamecube I think it was for.
Thanks for the suggestion I really appricate them.
Not sure about V advance, but VI advance's music is pretty bad compared to the SNES version.
I also suggest Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 (my suggestion is obvious thanks to my avatar), great TRPG.

Hmmm probably will pass on FFTA2. I played Final Fantasy Tactics on the PS years ago and I am just not a fan of tactical games. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Scribblenaughts: One of the best DS games of 2009! Its a must buy, imo, if you have a DS.
Nostalgia: If you like turn-based rpgs, I think you'll like this one. Its very unique in that it uses real world locations in a fantasy setting. Its so cool to visit London, Cario, India, Africa, and more in this game. The turn-based battles, in dungeons and via airships, are really good. Fun game.
Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes: An rpg with a twist: the battle system is very similar to a puzzle game. Very unique game. The developer, Cappy, is one to watch. I agree with nostalgia and scribblenauts great games Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks: Even better than Phantom Hourglass imo. A really fun Zelda game.
have you ever played CT before, zez? if so, i'd go TWEWY first (just for the new experience). If not, though... wtf, CT hands down.

[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
I would recommend "Ninja Gaiden DS". It has great graphic and excellent control. If you have an Nintendo DSi XL, I think Ninja Gaiden is a must buy, because the graphic is even more impressive on a bigger screen.
I highly recommend Beyond the Yellow Brick Road. The game is easy enough for rpg newcomers to play, and has enough depth for more experienced players. The track ball is so much fun, plus you get to kick but as Dorthy!

No worries...but TTA/2 is very different to the original Tactics. The graphics are more colourful and has a more lighthearted story as well as better weapon customisation. Still....you don't like TRPGs but just wanted to let you know. XD
MarioKart New Super Mario Bros WW:DIY Zelda: Spirit Tracks Scribblenauts I'm just listing the obvious ones, but I've heard good things about TWEWY (The World Ends With You) and Picross.
