Topic: DS: Best Nintendo system so far this year

well obviously, the system's been replaced. That's not a huge surprise, even N64 was better than SNES in 1997.

But even then it would be arguable if it wasn't for Mario 3D and a remake of one of the greatest games of all time (Star Fox 64). I'm honestly looking forward to Kirby Mass Attack more than any 3DS game other than those two. Mainly because I love the classic "add a gimmick to a 2d platformer and use that gimmick as much as possible" games.

I'm really looking forward to Mass Attack too.

People...don't focus on one thing....we will have a real good time on the 3DS until the Wii U is here....and with the 3DS and the Wii U together.....awesome.....believe me!

I believe developers who make games for Nintendo should really put a lot of extra stuff into their games, like things to collect, a lot of customisation, etc....that's why i love rpg's so much!....Always a lot of value for your money!

So pretty much this topic has no point? Yes? Yes.

....not really, but you know what? The more good games...the less moaning on topics.....that's what i think....i am mostly always positive about Nintendo, but people have a point....there is a lack of good games on Wii and 3DS....and sadly the DS has the best value at the moment in terms of quantity and quality games!

However i am hopeful that 3DS will top it in the coming years. What really won the DS for me was those ‘niche’ titles stated arriving around 2008. hopefully the 3DS will become like that in the coming years.

Also with games like TWEWY, the 5/6 ace attorneys', prof layton, DQ IX, Big Bang Mini (no seriously, i loce that game) and many more, how can the DS not be the best console ever.

also you are forgetting one of the best JRPGs of the past decade, Radiant Historia. And just like failed sales of Little King's Story, I will NEVER let anyone forget Radiant Historia. Ever.

I´ve played only two new DS games this year but they´re much better than the stuff I´ve seen on 3DS (Pilotwings was OK, Zelda is remake, Monkey Ball is ridiculously easy and Streer Fighter meh I´m more more a Smash Bros player). I mean, Pokemon White has kept me excited for over 215 hours and Ghost Trick was very original (haven´t played Dragon Quest 9 and new gimmick Kirby´s coming too). Currently, DS is the best Nintendo platform of the year, hopefully the end of the years 3DS games and Zelda will change that. Not that I mean DS is a bad platform but if they really wanna sell more 3DS´s it´s gonna need better games.
