Topic: Do dsi games have better graphics than ds games.

I'm wondering if dsi ware has better graphics as the dsi has 16MB ram and a faster processor vs the ds 4MB ram and slower processor.

Yep, you can't really see from the video but it should look pretty sharp running at 60 fps with all that action going on.

Theres a DSiWare game called X-Scape... The graphics are incredible.

The potential is there, absolutely.

Glory Days 2 may demonstrate the difference.

Solatorobo, the new DSi Enhanced retail title, is said to do so as well.

solatorobo blows ds graphics out of the water they should of released dsi retail games the fact they didnt makes me hesitant about 3ds but ill get it anyway.

I can't think of any that have taken advantage of the extra power yet, since there aren't many DSi-enhanced games. It'll be interesting to see if Pokemon B/W will take advantage of better graphical power, since it's supposed to have plenty other DSi-enhanced features (voice chat, etc).

All of the DSi Games (except dsiware, of course) are the same as the DS games, so the graphics are the same

Not surprising if there aren't many. I know it must suck for DSi owners if the hardware is under-utilized. But I supposed they decided to release DS games so a larger number of people could play them.
Not sure how much extra effort would be needed to use the extra hardware if it's available.
So... DSi... the new SuperGrafx? (it was an upgraded TurboGrafx only released in Japan, where the original console was fairly popular, but there were only 5 dedicated games, and 1 backward-compatible game (which also had a rare promo variant). So 5-7 games total.)

But it has to remebered that dsi was only really a effort to revive sales when 3ds is coming out because everyone who wants a ds already has one.
