Topic: Cave Story - Skin Color?

So I turned on Cave Story today.. and the main character is now a (hot) black guy. Also, and this may be my hangover, but it looks like he's wearing a Christmas Elf hat too when I press down on the d-pad.

Am I tripping? Discuss.

I already made a topic about this. Don't act like you discovered this on your own. There's no way you could. The codes can't possibly be put in by mistake.
Btw how could a character made out of 8-bit style pixels be hot? You should probably lay off the sauce.

Well since those codes apparently don't work on the DSi, the outfit probably changed by itself because it's Christmas Eve. The other colors are already available depending on what difficulty you select. Thanks for the info. Hopefully the DSi version has codes too.

I remember the color of the character changing based on the difficulty but I didn't think it would change because of the Wii's internal clock. I'm going to load the game up and see if mine is automatically set for the christmas suit.
