Don't you people think NoE is much behind at DSiWare games?

American people can download much more good games(29 to be exact).
I think it's pretty studip NoE is releasing only the meh games and apps...

This are the games people from europe are missing:

Thorium Wars
Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon
Crash-Course Domo
Hard-Hat Domo
Pro-Putt Domo
Rock-n-Roll Domo
White-Water Domo
Electroplankton Rec-Rec
Arcade Bowling
Robot Rescue
Electroplankton Lumiloop
Electroplankton Luminarrow
Electroplankton Marine-Crystals
Electroplankton Sun-Animalcule
Electroplankton Varvoice
Bookworm
Sudoku Challenge!
Ball Fighter
Pop Island
Bejeweled Twist
Hot and Cold: A 3D Hidden Object Adventure
Arcade Hoops Basketball
Glow Artisan
The Oregon Trail
Animal Puzzle Adventure
Jazzy Billiards
Word Searcher
Chronos Twins
Dark Void Zero

What do you think? Aren't we better off buying a american DSi?

Well, there's also a ton of titles only available in Japan presently -- that's not counting all the lifestyle apps! I agree the whole region-coding thing is really irritating when it comes to downloads, but I suspect Nintendo are just trying to avoid headaches that would result from folk accidentally downloading games in a foreign language; then there's the thornier issue of ratings and rights clearance.

Whilst there are negatives, from a gaming perspective if there was a global games rating and rights clearance body I suspect a lot of these issues would go away, but for indie developers worldwide releases are not an easy thing at present.

Awe, you guys don't have Bookworm, Pinball Pulse or Dark Void Zero? That's really lame, it's not like you guys don't speak English or something! What's the hold up?? Those are three terrific games, I hope you get them soon. Us in the States had to be patient for a good while until good games started coming, too, so hopefully it's sooner than later for you guys. I can't see the harm in importing an American DSi if your games aren't region locked. Especially if you guys don't have the light blue one. I love my light blue <3

Only add me if you've gone through puberty and you're not an anime freak.

@Abgar

I think almost everyone in Europe speaks and reads English, so I think we would be just fine with the American games.
But I just don't like waiting. America is getting al the good games first...

@Spaceboy

Europe has the light blue one haha, but I prefer the dark blue one and my black dsi.

Yeah, almost everyone speaks English here, except those damn french. A lot of frenchies don't speak English, but just about anywhere you go around here anyone under 50 will speak average English
It really helped me when I moved

And I hate how screwed we are when it comes to games :@ Tales of Symphonia 2 just came out here, for example, and I'm not sure if I'll ever get to play Oregon Trail because it's as American of a game as you can get
I remember playing it in gradeschool, though, and I'm pissed I can't get it. Thorium Wars and Dark Void Zero look awesome, too

New name, same game.

All French pupils take English classes. But, sure, we’re not as good at English as the Dutch for example.
Anyway, the thing is, NOE and NOA have different aproval processes, a game that passed NOA might fail at NOE. It’s not only a matter of supporting 2 more languages (NOA builds must support English, Spanish, and French already).

Because it's Nintendo…

For some reason Australia gets an even worse deal. For some reason even though we are counted as part of the European region we even miss out on some games that Europe get. Not enough to really screw us over but enough that's it's a slight inconvenience.

Yeah, it is, I bought one for 20 bucks AUD cheaper (including postage). Same deal with the Wii, I got mine cheaper from America (also including postage) and saved almost 40 AUD.

Also the games are cheaper

@Chunky It would be easier for a Handheld cause no region specific games. Wii games would get annoying, unless you have two wiis?

Too bad I only collect handheld Ninendo Systems... I don't even have a Wii anymore, I needed the money for DS games, and sold my Wii to my little brother haha.
