It's been a while since we keep any housekeeping here on the Nintendo Life forums so this is long overdue.
We've collapsed the separate Wii U, 3DS and Wii sub-forums into their own one-off forums (removing the eShop / Virtual Console ones). Everything is still tagged up as per those old forums and you'll see some 'Useful Tags' at the top of each of those forums. No threads have been lost.
We've also renamed and moved a couple of other forums around: 'Announcements' is now in an 'About Nintendo Life' section with the Feedback and Suggestions forum. 'News', 'Online Gaming' and 'Help & Troubleshooting' are now in the main 'Nintendo Gaming' category.
Finally, we've added a 'Game Developers' forum. For quite a while we've been asked by developers to allow them to post requesting feedback for their games, now they can, once their account has been verified by us.
We're also considering auto-archiving off old threads (still accessible, just only via search) from the forum lists to keep things a little neater.
@antdickens About the game developers forum, you said once there account is verified, I thought it would be cool if they got a different color star, kinda like the mods on this site, is that going to be a thing? probably not because your just talking about the forums here.
Thank you for the change, your hard work will not be wasted.
@antdickens Just to ask we are talking only about game developers with published games on Nintendo platforms? Fan stuff like my game is not verified, right?
Slightly suspicious that the two replies to the only Game Developer post so far are from accounts that (1) were created that day, (2) haven’t posted on anything else since and (3) are unreservedly praising the game.
Would be good now there is an organised place for this to get some proper impartial discourse with the developers!
@Eel Have you at least tried sending them an invite? A nicely written letter from you personally could entice them here, maybe send the letter with some flowers or a box of chocolates too.
@BongoBongo all the data points we have about those users suggest they aren't connected to the OP, so we have to take it at face value, it was looked into at the time too.
@Snatcher He's not and has never been a developer though, the mods will have to ban him if he tried creating an account. That's abit unfair but it's the mod's rules and not mine.
