Topic: What is your investment in Amiibo?

I'm definitely not a collector but I'll occasionally look at my bin of amiibo and think "huh, when/why did I buy like half of these?" They seem to have a habit of accruing over time, so I have about 25 or so at this point

At this point I'm basically done with them except in exceptional circumstances - eg I recently picked up a Joker since I just finished Persona 5 Royal and loved it, so it seemed a nice memento. It's unlikely to ever actually get used as an amiibo, but it's a nice affordable figure to sit on my shelf of PS4 games.

No one has to buy all of them that is even true for collectors maybe they buy just for that specific line aka BOTW zelda Amiibos and that is good enough for them. So collectors aren't one that buys all and there are some that insure they got the complete lineup. I fall into that later party because I like the design and model looks. But the fault is lack of Display shelving but that life of a Collector.

I need to do the math, as I legitimaley lost track around 2019. But I have no regrets, well maybe the price I paid for my 2 Bayonettas.

Rusty's Real Deal Baseball is now a hidden gem of the Nintendo 3DS.

My collection isn't massive, but isn't small either.
Don't think I've ever spent over £20 for a single amiibo, and even that's a stretch. If there's one I like the look of that tops that price, I'll usually just wait for Nintendo to hopefully restock it
