Topic: Please help me with displaying amiibo

Does anyone know where I could order something like these glass circle stands in the picture that are under the amiibo? Or just something similar? I've seen custom shelves and whatnot but I want something like this.

I display my amiibo in a row, here is a pic,

but there is no more room because I added JigglyPuff, WiFit Trainer, Little Mac and Pit. My only option is to put them behind the others on the left or right side of the TV but I need something to lift them up if they're going to be in a back row and these glass things would be the most perfect thing to use. I keep my Super Mario World / Mario Party set at work in my office but I have ordered Gannon for my TV stand at home and there is absolutely no room left to keep them in a row. It's already crowded.

It could be worth looking at paperweights or better yet, candle holders.

Let us know how you get on!

I looked online and it seems like places like Staples, Office Max and Office Depot sell acrylic, clear stands similar to the one in the picture. I'm probably gonna just go to the stores in person and see, and if I don't find something good I'll keep looking online.

You could also try make up or cosmetic stands. I've got a load of video game related figures that needed a display stand and I ended up buying something used to display cosmetics and it worked a treat. Maybe something similar will help, although it looks different to what you showed, it's another avenue to explore. (Would send the direct link to the store but I don't want to be accused of advertising)

Well that particular one would be too big because I only want one that is big enough to fit maybe three amiibos at the most since it's going to be on the edge of my TV stand on the right and left and I would only want it to be one level instead of two like that one; it is the type of look I'm looking for though, I want it to be clear.

It's easy enough to find one tier shelves, the picture was just an example of what you can get looking for cosmetic display stands so just have a dig around. They are a lot cheaper than paperweights that's for sure! I know I've got at least two or three one tier shelves just sitting around collecting dust, they cost something like £2 each on Amazon. Before that, I went down the route of custom shelves from the makers. Lots of specific options available, so you would certainly find something more to your needs, but they can charge up to double the Amiibo figures so I don't consider them worth it.

EDIT: just searched for "clear display stands" on Amazon and found a load of options. None that match your original picture (yet) but there are choices out there. In my home office I've got 30+ Dragon Quest figures, 200+ Godzilla figures and memorabilia and about 30 or so Lego minigifures so I've been buying a lot of display stands in the past. At least in my work office I've only got a few random figures from franchises but I'm trying to keep the numbers down!

An update for anyone who's interested... I ended up going to Michael's and buying these glass rectangles...

when I actually took them home and put them on the TV stand with amiibos on it I found it too big, really ugly, and as I expected, peeling the sticker label things off them was really, really annoying. Will return.

I went to Party City also and they have lots of Super Mario themed candy. One of them, the candy comes into an aluminum "?" block and if you peel the tape off them, it might work. I haven't decided yet, but if I do us this, I'll put the Mario themed characters in the background on top of these, behind the other amiibos..... overall I still haven't found what I want but will keep looking.

@Rexcalibr

Try a wet washcloth to remove the sticker from the glass things.

I was going to soak them in warm water and then remove it but I'm just going to return them. They're too chunky and the glass is cheap glass, like the kind on a plate or something. I want something more crisp.

I bought these black rectangles from Walmart and they work really well. I think they're supposed to be for candles but I just turned them upside down and now I can put some amiibo in a second row behind. Toad is such an eyesore though because it's the only red one.....

Today though on Amazon, I bought Zero Suit Samus, Bowser Jr., Ike, Marth, Lucina, Palutena, Star Fox, Capt Falcon, and Charizard so I will need to be four more of these candle rectangles so I can stack them on top of each other and make a third row in the back. Overall, this is all going to be a little over $300. But worth it because they display a lot better without looking cluttered.

@Jimtaro:
That's cool. I'm thinking of doing floater shelves.
