Topic: Mega Yoshi UK

Hi Amiibros,

Does anybody have any concrete news regarding the Mega Wooly Yoshi in the UK?
It's due to release on the 27th of this month, just over 2 weeks away, and as of yet, none of the usual suspects are offering a pre order.
Is it possible that it's been delayed to coincide with xmas?

I haven't heard anything about it being delayed. But yes you are right currently no retailer in the UK is taking pre-orders for Mega Yarn Yoshi, not even Nintendo store.

Shopto have said that they are waiting stock confirmation from Nintendo.
Was told by someone at a local Game "We don't have space for it so we won't be getting any".

Amazon has one for sale as a pre-order from GamesPot and they want £100.
eBay seller have it from £30 to £60 for ones from Japan (10th Dec) and US (Toys-R-Us exlcusive from 15th Nov).

Maybe we'll hear something tonight at the EU part of Nintendo Direct. But don't forget we've already got 9 Amiibos hitting next week and then Shovel Knight a week later (when we should also have Mega Yoshi). This months will be one of the largest Amiibo figure releases since the first batch dropped.

I'm kind of an amiibo snob. I'll only buy them from the UK Nintendo store (except for my silver Mario and Japanese ROB, which obviously were out sourced)
And yeah, I'm fully aware of the coming line up, got them all pre ordered!
The reason I asked is as its my better halves 30th in early December and I'm getting her 30 gifts worth £30 each, and as she is absolutely obsessed with Yoshi, was hoping that this would be one of them!
Fingers crossed it's still on its way.

@GauBan: thanks for the heads up, greatly appreciated. No idea when they went live on the Official UK store, haven't received any kind of communication and have been checking religiously

I'm thinking it'll go up tomorrow as that's the same day as the Inkling Squid restock.

@G0dlike: I'm also check a number of retailer regularly for Amiibos and I never saw anything about it being for pre-order with Nintendo. This is the holder page that someone managed to find.

@Grumblevolcano: Maybe, I know ShopTo have not had any final details from suppliers and neither have Game. Infact none of them have changed the Shovel Knight Amiibo date either to it's new date in December.

Quick update for people. Nintendo started shipping Mega Yoshis at the end of last week and should be arriving at people's home over the next couple of days.

@GauBan: The postman has literally just dropped mine off! With plenty of time to spare until the misses birthday 😊

@G0dlike: Good to hear. I got my one from Nintendo as well.

I've now got to think if I want to cancel the second pre-order that I have with Smyths.

I got mine on Friday as it was only £24.99 bargain.

@Starz: yeah Argos has dropped their price. Most other places I've seen are still £35 to £40.
