No offense to whoever's room this is, but seeing this makes me glad I collect game memorabillia... Instead of other things. But hey, different strokes for different blokes.

Check out my YouTube channel if you love gaming, and Nintendo (especially Metroid) I think you'll enjoy my videos. :)

In the span of just over a week I went from "done with Amiibo" to stumbling upon a clean row of Toon Link stocked when I arrived at work on Wednesday and now having Toon Link, Sheik, and Zelda in my possession with Mega Man on the way (I don't even like Mega Man) and an intent to go search for a good looking Link on my next day off. Can't wait to snap a shot of that set up.

Game(s) right now: Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon, World of Final Fantasy Maxima

Finally I see people who talks about amiibos, I still haven't found one single person in my country that owns an amiibo lol. Is it really necessary to buy the whole collection of amiibo figurines? Right now I got Captain Falcon, Link and recently ordered Sheik, heard that last one is very rare am I right? What characters you guys got and which amiibo is the rarest one today? I would also appreciate if it is worth getting a Super Mario too because in my opinion it's a damn well made figurine. Any thoughts on that?

@TriforceCake It's not necessary to own all of them, or even any of them for that matter. Their uses are entirely optional, so if you want some just get whichever characters you like most, or if you want to collect them get them all, get them all, whatever. Again, entirely optional.

I would say Marth, King Dedede, Ike, Villager and Wii Fit Trainer are among the rarer ones, though everything that isn't a Mario character is extremely hard to get because....Nintendo.

That sounds about right. Does it affect the rarity of the figurines depending on which country you get it from? Is there a region mark that makes it more valuable?

I feel like we are going to need AA meetings for amiibo. I just picked up Sheik and preordered Shulk (for the may shipment). Still waiting on Ike and Mega man. I may stop by target on the way home and look for Toon Link.

Oh, the store-exclusive ones are rare too, like Rosalina, Metaknight, Shulk and Lucario. So rare they're basically impossible to get actually. Hard to believe I forgot to mention them.

I've seen comments here about some countries having all amiibo flooding shelves in stores. I think America is getting screwed over most with these things. Amiibo aren't region locked so if you wanted to, you could pay extra to have a foreign one shipped in from another country and it would work exactly the same as one from your home country.

So really, what's rare here may not be rare somewhere else.

EDIT: Looking at your profile it says you live in Sweden. I don't know how rare amiibo are in that country. Everything I've mentioned applies to my experience trying to find amiibo in NA.

So you need someone to protect and fight for one of your friends? But you don't have Ike in the collection? What is wrong with you?

@MrWalkieTalkie Something's wrong with that picture. Why is Toon Link outside instead of in the center? I call shinanigans.

Those figma and statues must have cost a mint. I just got into figma and it is ruining my life. Which reminds me I need to pay off my Lucina figma this week.

Well, having something from Sweden is like having the same thing in the UK, both are from Europe so.. It should be the same value as the UK. Anyway, Lucario, King Dedede and Shulk is available to get right now in Sweden.

I think I'll be able to hold back from too many future purchases, though I'm considering getting both Bowser figures and I know I'll get Lucina if I can catch the preorders since she's my fave Smashie.

If getting them all was easy I'd be boned though, I'd get them all.
