Yes I bought all five of them.
To be fair, these are just the steelbook. They don't include the game, so they are much cheaper than we are imagining.

When were they supposed to release again?
Honestly, I have no idea. IIRC, Shulk was to be released in February.
When I went online to preorder Meta Knight (the Best Buy exclusive amiibo), it gave me a date of January 8th for that one. Unfortunately, I've not heard anything else regarding that order. (My order status for Meta Knight now says it has a release date of 12/31/15 - which tells me they have no idea when it will happen).
I'm really glad to be getting Shulk tomorrow because I was starting to worry that it might not happen.
I sure hope that I can get the Pac-Man amiibo! Pac-Man is one of my mains! I think I'm pretty good with him! I want a Mega Man one too. I'm okay at fighting with Mega Man, but I mostly want him just to display him because Mega Man is cool! But I REALLY want a Captain Falcon amiibo because I think he is my best character! But I don't have the money to buy him at the moment. People sell that amiibo for more than triple the price sometimes!

I went to Gamestop this morning to get my Shulk amiibo. Turns out the UPS delivery man showed up as I arrived with about 20 boxes of stuff so I'll have to return later after the GS worker can go thru them all.
While I was there, I was able to score the only Toon Link they had!
