Topic: Yatagarasu (Fighting Game) brought by Nicalis

Nicalis, in collaboration with Circle Edge, proudly announces fighter "Yatagarasu" (final name and release date TBD) bound for the West! Created by a three-man team (past credits include King of Fighters), Yatagarasu rocks hard with classic 2D fighting action and tournament-level depth.

Looks pretty cool. I'm just happy for selection in the 3ds library. What are your opinions?

Whoa this looks awesome. A fighting game on the eShop? And it looks good!? I'm already sold! The art style looks nice and the mechanics look smooth for a 3-man team.
Rockin song in that trailer too.

Some of the characters look pretty cool but other than that, I'm gonna have to see more gameplay before I get excited for anything.

I'm gonna need a review before buying in! Price, does it have online gameplay, etc. If it's good I can see myself sinking endless hours into this baby each and every day. But i'm not getting my hopes up just yet.

If it has online then I'll definitely consider it.

So far these are the features. Hopefully they add online and more characters or at least the option for DLC.

Parry system you say? It's like SF3 all over again!

Well another very good looking game that won't come out til god knows when, theres like 5 or 6 games everyone is wanting but its either TBA/delayed/out next year so hopefully if this is a good game it wil hurry.Also this reminds me of blazblue for the 3ds.

A little part of me always dies when Nicalis announces anything. To me, it just says "awesome indie game which will get released after a long wait in every region but yours". On the other hand, this game looks incredible and very playable - if it had online then it would be probably the perfect eShop game!

Give me Cave Story + 3D first, then this.

Wow, it's looking good...and it's from Nicalis? Okay, I'm calling it right now, best 2D fighting game release for 3DS, Winter 2015!

I'll get it if it's cheap. I can find SSF3DE for $10 so unless it can compete with that I probably won't get it.

Yatagarasu also features a unique optional commentator system that mimics the tournament trash talk experience. SOLD!!!!

That's an, um, unique feature. lol

I highly highly highly doubt this game will have online multiplayer. The press release says the team is around 3 men only. So I'm just setting my expectations low on the multiplayer part of the game. If it's only $6 or $5 than at least I might be able to convince some people to get the game for local play.
