Topic: Would putting in a NYKO battery pack void my warranty?

I have a NYKO Battery pack and I want to put it in my 3DS. I'm just being safe and asking first, but would that void my warranty?

If you need to open the back of the console: Yup.

They say it would, but honestly, just keep your old 3DS battery somewhere safe and you're good to go.

The same goes for other removable accessories like Action Replay.

Things like this are entirely at your own risk, 3Dash. If you're worried, try contacting Nintendo proper — at least if they say it won't, you'll have it in writing if they try to give you trouble about it later on down the line. :3
