Topic: Will Majora's Mask Collectors edition be available without a pre-order?

I was lucky enough to pre-order the Majora's Mask N3DS on Bestbuy, but sadly I failed to secure a pre-order of the collector's edition of the actual game. (The one with the Skull Kid figure) So I'm wondering if it will be available in stores without a pre-order. I plan on going to best buy the morning it launches to see if I can snag one, but do I actually have a chance?

I've had luck previously buying things without a pre-order, I remember going store to store trying to find a specific color Gameboy Advance and even remember the epic failure of not finding a Wii back in the day. I managed to get the last Deluxe Wii U at Bestbuy after convincing the people in front of me to buy the deluxe instead on the normal one. That was a CRAZY day, but I've never had to deal with finding a legit "collectors edition" at a store. It's sold out online, and I don't even know if it even be on the shelves.

Not unless you live in a really empty town with no gamers, and even then you'd have to be extremely lucky. Save your gas, and call around if you wanna make sure

I plan on going first thing in the morning so If they have at least one... maybe I'll get it... maybe.
I don't really want it THAT badly, as I said I did manage to pre-order the N3DS. If could only have one or the other, I'd pick the N3DS. NO CONTEST.

I'm not cruel so good luck! I've been able to purchase especial editions lots of times without pre-ordering. Some shops just have them on the shelves.

I'd say if you live in a city or a pretty big metro area with a lot of gamers, good luck. If you live in a smaller town, then I think you might find one if you go first thing Friday

Cassie of KoopaCouple pre-ordered one from a small store in Illinois and her preorder wasn't cancelled like a lot of peoples were if they ordered from a big place. So I say look for small stores that sell video games, even if it's not in your state.

UPDATE: Two words. epic. fail.

I was the first one at best buy I got there minutes before it opened and within no time there was a small crowd forming... When the doors opened everyone rushed in and we all speed walked to the game section. A guy was stocking the NEW 3DSs and a lady asked for a gold one, he said there weren't any. Everyone groaned.

But not me. "HA HA", I thought to myself, for my gold N3DS was on it's way to my house. Then I asked if they had Majora's Mask. He said yes. Then I corrected myself, I forgot to mention I wanted the collecter's editon.

He checked on the computer. I crossed my fingers, and waited. I finally got an answer, but it wasn't the one I wanted.

^That comment popped into my head. I sighed and ended up buying the standard version.

I bet the figure isn't that cool anyway... I don't think it it's in scale with any of my Nintendo figures. I hope we get an articulated Skull kid figure someday... They should make it a nendoroid to go with the new MM Link.
