Topic: Why are Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's official Kisekae plates so expensive??

Okay. I am I huge Kyary fan, and I've always wanted a pair of Kisekae plates. I was soooo excited to find out that she designed TWO official plates for herself, and they look STUNNING. I love them both, but I've had my eye on the one with eyeballs (No pun intended). I searched online for it, and it turns out that it is VERY expensive. Like the cheapest I could find was about $120.00 and I mean, I could buy that, but...its a really big waste of money. I love the other one as well, but it's also quite expensive. And all the other Kisekae plates are, what, 15 dollars? I know Kyary's plates are imported from Japan, but aren't they all? I would buy them, I'm not a cheapskate, but honestly, does anyone know anywhere cheaper to buy them from?

Scarcity. I've been eyeballing them since they came out years ago and saw them at the $15-20 price point a couple of years ago. At this point I think it's purely a rarity thing.

Hmm. That would make sense. I guess it would be better to buy 'em now before they get even more expensive.
