Topic: Where is the free Nintendo Letterbox update??

I'm having trouble with downloading the update for Nintendo Letterbox, where is it? I tried using Spotpass, it didn't download and on the eshop, there is no mention whatsoever of the update, even though it said it was scheduled for today. Does any one know what's going on?

I tried changing regions to Europe, but even there e-shop does not have the update yet? :/

@Emperor I do believe your 3DS has to actually be European to get the update. Just changing your region does nothing, iirc.

I have been refreshing the Eshop every hour now from 4:00 PM. It seems something is wrong with the Eshop...

Not necessarily, Mine is an AU/NZ 3DS and we get updated the same time as europe, with mostly the same content, why wouldn't we get the update? Just seems a little odd, I may just ring Nintendo and ask if we're getting it too.

I've looked all over the eShop and found nothing. Guess it'll just appear through a random SpotPass notification.

Apparently the news of the update was a mistake on the press release, and it's not due this week. But, Nintendo have confirmed the update is deffinitly in the works and will let everybody know when it's ready.

I can confirm that it is indeed out. There are some very nice updates such as the ability to take pictures in Swapnote, change colors for each page of a note, and the ability to more easily find a specific friend's message.

In America the update came out today, but it's not out in Europe yet.

It's definitely not out in Australia or NZ, I've checked several times, damn I'm gonna have to ask Nintendo what's taking them so long.
