Topic: Touch pad separation??

I got a new 3ds XL a little over a month ago and shortly after purchased the Nintendo brand screen protectors. Since I've practically only played Omega Ruby I've notice the center of the touch pad screen is separating from the pad itself. And I know it's not the protector bubbling. Is this common??
