Am I the only one who thinks this game looks tremendously boring? I mean the totem mechanic isn't a very interesting twist on the gameplay, and having co-op seems to completely neuter the level design, making it very linear and simplistic (I'm really getting sick of Nintendo shoehorning co-op into everything, and this is a good example of why).
At least you still get games that follow Zelda traditions. A Link Between Worlds didn't come out too long ago and the Wii U is still getting a new Zelda. Other developers seem to forget to go back to their roots after they add co-op to a game. Once they release a Co-Op game in a series every game in that series has to have co-op.
The only thing I didn't like about the totem mechanic at E3 is that the person in the middle has nothing to do. The person on the top attacks, the person on the bottom walks, the person in the middle does nothing.
Yay! I hope I get an email... I'm really want to play the game since my interest in it has spiked tremendously over the past few days.
My FC is 1049-1766-8301. If I get an email, I'll be sure to tell you guys!
So... As it turns out I ended up receiving a mail from Nintendo... Feel free to ask for a code if you want, but I'll only send it tomorrow. Online co-op is only available from October 16th anyways.
I don't know if someone already posted it but if anyone's interested I'll paste the contents of the message here:
