Hey guys. I just spent a couple weeks in the hospitl which was made a lot easier because i had my 3ds. Unfortunately, while i was out of my room having a procedure done,it seems like someone stole it, i know t wasn't smart to leave it out in the open but i was just woken and full of meds. Anyway, my Dad is a great guy and didnt mind making a trip for me to the store to get a new one. I was pretty happy even though i jad tostart my zelda game over again. Anyway, i eventuallytried to enter my nintendo ID and it says i can't register that ifD because it was already connected to my old 3DS. Does anyone know how to get my old ID back? I dont know exactly what it will allow me to do but i just want it back. I don't mind if i can't get the old system back.. I didnt even realize the xl had been updated. I just want that id

Sorry for tons of typos. Still medicated. I edited the thread because the title had "nontendo" in it.

You do have the serial number of your stolen 3DS, right? You need it to get your games transferred over. If you still have the box, the SN is located there too.

That's a crying shame that someone would steal it, especially at a hospital of all places.

You need to contact Nintendo and explain the situation. Having the serial numbers of both your new and old systems is pretty vital, plus some other common info on hand. (Like your NNID, name, etc.)

Supposedly if you had a Club Nintendo account and registered the system, that's another way you could get the serial number. Unfortunately, as it closed in NA at the end of June, it can no longer be accessed.
