Topic: So...Sonic Lost World is pretty much the sequel to Sonic Colors, right?

I watched some footage of the Lost World Gamescom demo, and I noticed that the wisps are present in this game. Do we know wether or not if this game is a continuation of Color's story? Or are the wisps in the game for the heck of it?

From what I've seen, the Wisps are just there for the heck of it, lol.
The story seems a lot different than the story in colors.

maybe they will make it relate somehow like, I don't know, maybe making the villains come from the wips' planets? but I think it'll be a very small relation....

They look like the heck of it to me.

I thought fans of the series would be used to see reused characters in Sonic games by now.

@Morphtorok I've never really been that much of a Sonic fan. I mean I've always liked him but I didn't have many of his games. After Nintendo's flood of Mario I decided to take a second look at him, and I'm liking what I'm seeing.

I guess in a way, it is a Sonic Colors 2. I mean, the Wisps are back for another playable appearance (Sonic Generations doesn't count). I belive Lost World will continue Sonic Colors's storyline because it'll have to explain why the Wisps are there in the first place.
