@kawaiidesu i dont know the exact size, but if you buy a precision screwdriver set, it should come with a philips size that will fit.

Sounds like you're wanting to do a battery swap. What kind of 3DS unit are you hoping to open? Some systems, typically the XL sizes, take a #0 Phillips screwdriver. Smaller units need a #00 instead. The correct size is important to minimize screw stripping.

hey guys i want to open the bottom back screws to remove the back cover. i want to replace the joystick because it broke off. i bought this screwdriver set from amazon and used a phillipps 8800c and it didn't remove the bottom back screws.
