Seriously, why do 2 out of the 3 samurai games on eShop have to be made by UFO? I know Balloon Pop Remix turned out to be surprisingly good, but that's probably just because it was originally supposed to be retail.

It's nice to see a developer using Feudal Japan's famous problem of magical floating coins and making a game around it.

This game reminds me another game UFO made for the 3DS Samurai Sword Destiny.

I think it might be good actually, since it looks like they're trying to repeat on the Bird Mania formula.

Stop with the endless runners on eShop! Bird Mania was the only one I've enjoyed. If we get another endless runner type game it better be a port of Robot Unicorn Attack! >:[

When I just saw the name and picture for it on the eShop, I knew it was made by UFO, it's just so easy to tell..

Doesn't look that fun for $2 bucks, I would rather save up for Sakura Samurai

I saw the word samurai and peeked interest, then I saw the company UFO and then became verrrrry disappointed

I really hope the G isn't short for Game, because if that was the original title, that's dreadful.

I enjoyed Samurai Sword Destiny, but strongly disliked Zombie Slayer Diox. I wish I got into playing UFO's other 2 titles.
I don't see why people judge UFO so badly. I can see from each title they make, they put a level of focus into it. Its not like Teyon, who put a small effort to port a game into the eShop, and don't get me started on Digital Leisure for making terrible titles for DSiware and Mad Dog Mcree.
This game is $2 so its hard to say no.

It's probably for gold, since the main point of the game is to accumulate coins (and in the logo, the g is on a traditional Japanese gold coin).

A Platformer in which the main idea is to grab tons of coins for 3DS? Thats original.

I stopped reading after that.

I just have a feeling that this game was made to make a quick buck off of the success of Teyon's Bird Mania 3D (which is constantly in the Bestsellers section).

I know there are a kajillion other "endless runners" that could take the claim of inspiration, but since BM3D proved the genré has an audience on 3DS, I'm assuming it's the case.

What really points this out to me, is that it looks like they just took assets from Samurai Sword Destiny, tampered with them a bit, and now we have an "endless runner" with a very similar theme/art style to that game, instead of something that looks a little more thought out.

If UFO's games aren't very good when they're actually trying to do something unique (Johnny Kung Fu, for example), I'm not sure I want to know what happens when they're trying to make a quick buck.

I'm not saying the game's going to be bad for sure, but given UFO's track record, I'm not optimistic.
