@mieu-fire don't get me wrong, I enjoy ampharos as well, but anyone who thinks ampharos looks like a sheep is off their rocker. I want either a one or two stage pokemon that actually remains sheep-like. If that makes sense -.-

well i can imagine that they could appear in the vc but why would they bother remaking it,just because silver and gold got the treatment dont mean that all the other titles are
[/div]
Fire Red and Leaf Green would like to speak with you. Gold and Silver weren't the only ones with remakes.
The thing is R/G and G/S needed remakes so to speak. Being original Gameboy games the batteries were dieing out for both games and they were a bit harder to find and get the correct console. R/S/E are still pretty recent and save just fine. Not to mention everyone and their grandma has some form of the GBA.
Imo it's way too early for a remake of R/S. I didn't even like the originals, but hey. Maybe playing threw them again would change my mind.
Heck, my Gold battery still saves. My friend has 2 copies of Ruby (one is mine ) and they both still save. A bunch of other GBA games still save. Some are probably dieing out faster, because they've been played longer but overall they're fine.
i bought it brand new never play played or open and it dies out i couldnt beat the first gym with out it dieing out and it dont work i bought crystal from playintrade they check if it saves and it does not ever die out
Happy_Mask you're right. my name ideas are crappy. how about rampaging ruby and spiritual sapphire?

i think they just need to make a bog pokemon game where we can customize our characters and make a 3ds visual thing like all those other pokkemon games that came out for game cube like pokemon shadows of darkness

facepalm
There is no need to remake the game just because the previous ones have been remade. Take a look at the graphics of all the games - they pretty much peaked at S/R/E. Take a look at any of the Pokemon sprites for all the generations and you'll see why there is no point in it. Unless there's a 3D remake with a big change in graphics - which wouldn't really apply well to a remake anyway, then it wont be improved much.
@Geonjaha, I agree somewhat. R/S/E were perfect visually and audio wise. I honestly think they would just ruin it with DS visuals and "remixed" music, so it would be most ideal on the 3DS with a new style. I would love to visit a newer version of Hoenn though, despite my view that the originals are perfect.
i jsut want a ruby sapphire reamake sence i always have trouble with my gba games i buy BRAND NEW! they just always delete my file
so i really want a ruby remake
You just need to replace the battery and it'll be fine.
Look it up online - there are plenty of guides out there.
You can even just take it some shops and have them replace it for you.
R/S/E dont need remakes. The original GBA cartridges can have their battery replaced if need be (it's not as dated as GB/GBC ones - it shouldnt be much of a problem), and it's not like they're rare games.
Dont get into the habit of asking for or expecting a remake just because the previous installments have been remade. We REALLY dont need these remakes - and we dont need Game Freak thinking otherwise. People complain that the Pokemon franchise is getting stale and worse over time - but you can bet remaking a GBA game wont help that.
pokemon in my opinion got stale with black and white i didnt enjoy those i think i will enjoy white 2 and black 2 but 1 2 3 4 gens never were bad or stale they were amazing
I'd have to agree to an extent. The first three generations were very good in my opinion - they all improved vastly over each other. Diamond and Pearl were where it started to go downhill for me. The legendaries started to become too common and generic (how can they even be 'legendary' anymore? Theres like 30 of them...), and the graphics/sound quality had peaked. Granted the Wi-fi elements were added though, and it was the first step on the DS, so I let it pass.
Black/White was very dissapointing though, and is the reason why I'm not buying Black/White 2. If you want something to change in a gaming franchise you have to stop paying for their mistakes. The Pokemon games are still very good - and I'm sure Black/White 2 will be very good games; but they hardly improve over the last games and Game Freak can do better than that - they're just choosing not to because the games sell anyway. A sad trend that only you as the consumer can stop.
