I need a few extra battles to get my units stronger, and I just wondered, how can I use a reeking box?

Bulletproof and black like a funeral.

Any unit can use one, and the convoy can as well. just select it and use it on a spot (meaning chapters on the map) relative to your units level. The enemy's levels depend on the area you use it (prologue-weaker enemies, paralogues and higher chapters-stronger enemies).

If you're looking for extra battles, summoning "Bonus Teams" from the "Wireless" menu may be more worthwhile. The teams all come in varying levels, so you should be able to find one near your level that you can beat for EXP. Plus, Reeking boxes are few and far between and cost a lot of money for what they offer while the above method does it for free.

Depends. I prefer going through the game without using any of the Bonus Wireless teams - they kind of ruin the fun of the game for me.

I said nothing of using the characters from those teams in your party. I myself refrained from using any of them during my first play through of the game. I merely suggested to fight them for EXP if that is what you're in need of. Reeking boxes were, in my eyes, way too expensive for what they offered and they weren't easy to find either, so I turned to using the Bonus Teams in their place. They were free to use and were always available to fight.
