Topic: Professor Layton and the MM code issue (downloaded game)

Has anyone else that downloaded the game had trouble entering the passcode for the Last Spector? I've tried every different way and it tells me that my code is invalid. I'm really peeved about this. Please tell me this isn't just me. Grr.
It's still not working and I have no idea why. I guess I just email Nintendo?

Can't help you though as my copy is a cart and I've never downloaded a retail game.
Is it possible to delete and re-download a retail game (like you can with eShop and DSiWare games), in case the file got corrupted at the time of original download?
I think you're right about emailing Ninetendo as they will have the best advice.

It worked for me. Are you using the same system to get both codes? The Miracle Mask manual mentions that you need to use the same system (e.g., your 3DS) for the codes to work. Get the code from Mask, put it in Specter, then get the Specter code and put it in Mask.

You may also want to make sure that you're using capital letters as necessary (not sure if the codes are case-sensitive, but that might be it).

Where can those of us that downloaded the game view the manual? Is there a site we can go?

I haven't downloaded any retail games but I would have thought that there would be an option to look at the manual from the 3DS menu like there is for DSiware, 3DS VC and 3DSware games.

The manual is downloaded as well (i downloaded the game too). When you select the icon for the game, you will see along the bottom of the touch screen an option for "Manual". It's the same as with VC games and such.
