Hello!

I own a Nintendo 3DS XL - and i really care about it. I never droped it, dont touch it to hard, feed it every night and polish it once a week.

No my A-Button doesnt work properly. When i push it on the "right" side (as far as its a side, its pretty small) it works perfect. But when i push too far on the left side it doesnt do anything at all.

Does someone of you know this issue? What can i do? I read that Nintendo wants about 100 $$$ for repairing problems like that, even if the device is still in warranty...

Greetings

Try to blow into it. If that doesn't work, nothing much you can do outside of calling Nintendo. If it's still in warranty, though, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't cover this.

Nintendo recommends using a toothbrush to clean the buttons. I have a similar problem except for me the B button was the only one that worked and then the touch screen stopped responding so I have to send my XL in. It was weird though because it happened the day after I updated my XL. My repair isn't cost me so far, unless they determine that "it's my fault".

Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury

Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword

Did cleaning the button with a toothbrush work? My B Button stopped working as well. At work, so can't try it right now.
