hello, im kind of new to this and the problem is that i dont understand at all both things :/ i tried to watch some explanation videos and some guides but i dont really understan i kind of undertood about EV but i still have some question like when do i see the results reflected? and also whats better to use if i want to get better stats in attack for a pokemon, a macho brace or a power bracer? (i know both make your pokemon get better attack but i would like to know if macho brace also get better other stats) and about IV i dont understand at all, whats the deal about having perfect IV?and how do i know if they are perfect? i would reeeeeeaaally aprecciate if someone could explain me all of this.
the results of the EVs are seen completely on Lv100 4EVs=+1 on the specific stat by the level 100 so let's say in level 50 your Pokémon has 240 attack EVs only 120 of those will have taken effect(+30 points in the attack stat) so you have to do a lot of math divisions to know how many EVs are taking effect(or just train to level 50 when you know it's half the EVs that are in effect) and power bracer is better for attack EVs(Power Bracer gives +4 attack EVs when you knock out a Pokémon and Macho Brace just doubles the EVs you get from the knocked out Pokémon, both only have effect on the traditional EV training so super training won't affected by them)
now on to IVs it's simple theres a guy in the Kiloude city Pokémon center that tells you the best IV on your Pokémon if he says one or more stats "can't be beat" the IV is perfect.
