ok.... I remember now why I always hated the GTS.... and now I hate even more.... how the option to show trades for Pokémon I have will help at all if I don't have event legendary Pokémon enough(I don't even have one and unless I had 50 of a single one I wouldn't give any away that easily) to give away in exchange of weak Pokémon I simply like?

If your Pokemon is under lv. 50 will it be shot up to lv.50 in a battle?
Edit:in a wifi online battle with lv.50 set rules.

nope if it's above 50 it will be taken down to 50(already tried once to see if it'll go up and failed :/ )

Yes, lv 50 all sets Pokemons level to level 50 no matter what level. I don't even train my pokes half the time now once I get all its moves lol.

And yes, at level 100, you get the "full" effect of EVs and IVs.

so a Pokémon taken down to Lv 50 from the Lv 100 will be better than one that's already in Lv 50?

Not really. The game calculates the amount of stat points your Pokemon would be at lvl 50 and 100, so it won't make a difference what level it is before the battle. Did that answer your question? lol D:

@turtlelink yes, it makes no difference if there's a set level rule but IN Lv 100 all EVs and IVs will take full effect

Yea, so for example, if you have a Pokemon with perfect attack IVs, it will have 15.5 or so more points in attack, whereas in level 100 play, it will have 31 extra points in that stat.

Also, @X, Focus Band has a 10% chance of working. Get the Focus Sash (100% but it's consumable).

It was an intense match. I think I'm just lucky he made the questionable play of going for Dragon Claw over Rockslide at the end but still, this guy took those shadow balls like a champ! This guy was no joke either with 1,681 points on Battle Spot!

No, that is him, you're right! He was very overused during gen 5.
