@LegendOfPokemon The fighting crab may evolve into an ice type, a fighting/ice yeti crab, it looks like an ice type at least. Other than that, I guess the Alolan forms do count to some degree, so there's Vulpix and Sandshrew, it's kinda lazy, can't help it either.
(warning, half of this post may expose story line progression and encounters, continue to read past the image if you don't care.)
people are saying that this is the dolphin:
On another note, I wanted to mention all those " black spaces" are in fact not new pokemon. I'm looking at the files myself, and turns out, all the black spaces seems to be after would be totem pokemon.
There's two black spaces after raticate (totem rat, and shiny totem rat)
there's four after the doggo zygarde (assumingly shiny and non shiny cells and cores)
Two after gumshoos (shiny and not shiny totem)
Two after Vikavolt (confirmed totem?)
Two after Lurantis (makes a cinematic appearence in the many trailers, assumingly totem)
Two after Salandit's evo (totems..)
Four after mimikyu (mimikyu has 4, appearently it slanting is counted as new forms.. so 4 totem images?)
And two images after Kommo-o (totems...)
What throws me off is wishiwashi had a cinematic in the trailers but I do not see anything here for it.
Hope this clears things up with the "omg new pokemon hidden?" files. The pokemon are either scrubbed out without a trace or this is pretty much all we're getting.
So, in the demo, there are characters that say something is going to happen in a certain amount of days. Will someone be posting when those happen or is it different for everyone and I just need to remember to count?
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...
I tried to determine what version exclusives there may be, and I see a lot of missing past time version exclusives (there's butterfree, but no beedrill... there's sableye but no mawile.. pinsir but no heracross)
There's also a black space before caterpie, idk what to make of that.. another victini maybe? Starter of the dex legend? Would seem weird considering marshadow is in the end of the dex..
Might be placeholder for a new form for a past gen mon.
First NPC (right outside Pokemon Center doors) will give you 10 Pretty Wings to send to the full game. Hopefully some of those NPCs that ask you to come back even later have some better rewards (I'm not waiting 23 days for something measly)
Yea based on datamining its no real pressure, its just stuff you'd sell. Kinda pointless like oras but ash greninja most likely won't be distributed otherwise unlike the mega stones.

@MegaBeedrill Good point, I guess I would be mad if I ended up missing an important/useful item. I guess it's better to have pointless bonus items after all. But I got the Greninja, so I'm not sure I'll be coming back to the demo until release date.
Speaking of Ash-Greninja, for those that haven't noticed it seems pretty obvious that the Greninja you get is in fact Ash's. Apparently the 'Date Met' is the same date that the X/Y anime aired in Japan, and the same episode that Ash first met Froakie. It's pretty clear that the letter you read in the beginning of the demo was written by Ash (but he didn't leave his name.... this is why he needs to go back to school) and that he gifted the Greninja to Sun.
So that (sort of) ties up any inconsistencies as to how a Greninja becomes 'Ash'-Greninja without there being an Ash. The half-serious question I have is: does this make the anime canon in any way?
Well today's XYZ episode (in Japan) is about Greninja leaving Ash, so....
But the anime will never be canon anyway (too many plot conflicts with the games), so if the two events are related then it'll just be a neat tie-in, nothing more.
But maybe the official Pokémon universe is the anime, and the games in-universe are based off of the anime. (The anime has been the real canon this whole time!!!!)

idk what "burned itself out" is, something new or have we heard this before?
As well as lines 8037-8040
which might mean protect reduces damage, there's a move that breaks through protect, or just simply new text for shadow force and feint attack. What makes this more questionable is it says "fully" as if it's still doing something
Psychic Terrain
Pokémon on the ground won’t be hit by priority moves for five turns. It boosts the power of Psychic-type moves.
Throat Chop
The Pokémon can’t use any move that produces sound for two turns.
Aurora Veil
It halves the power of special and physical attacks for five turns.
Laser Focus
The move on the turn after the Pokémon uses Laser Focus always results in a critical hit.
Interesting stuff there...

I can't picture myself working to make these games.. 19761 lines of text....
Water Pledge inflicts regular damage, with double damage and an additional effect when combined with Fire Pledge or Grass Pledge in Double and Triple Battles. The combined move is used by the Pokémon that moved second.
If it and Fire Pledge are used in the same turn, it will inflict damage at double the power, then create a rainbow on the user's side of the field for four turns. The rainbow doubles the probability of secondary effects taking place on that side of the field; this effect does not stack with Serene Grace.
@MegaBeedrill When it talks about a Pokemon "burning itself out", it might just be different text for needing to recharge after using Hyper Beam-like moves.
