Topic: Pokémon Sun & Moon - Discussion & Speculation

I'm not really interested in post-game content. I usually stop playing once I'm done with Pokémon League but I did like Battle Frontier in Pokémon Platinum. The island where it was located was quite nice to travel through, though I'm not really a fan of level 50 Pidgey, Rattata, etc. I was glad that I could catch them but since I like evolving Pokémon, I don't like when there's a Pokémon that's really high-leveled and then you just level it once to evolve it. I'm really hoping that they'll bring at least a small part of Kalos back since Zygarde seems to be at least somewhat important part of Sun & Moon. I don't need the whole Kalos but if you could visit the places around Zygarde's location in X & Y, that would be quite nice. It would be a nice nod to how you visit Kanto in Gold & Silver. Now would be the perfect timing. I'm not holding my breath though.

So is posting about the inevitable stuff that will leak from people who data mine the demo allowed here or not? Just for clarification as I'm gonna read all about it and don't want to unintentionally spoil stuff for other people.

@Shinion Yeah, just use spoiler tags. If people want to remain spoiler free, they shouldn't be visiting this thread in the first place. CoroCoro and trailers can be posted without spoiler tags, but I think it's best to keep the real leaks hidden behind spoiler tags.

By the way, NL added a big advert banner of Sun/Moon.

Yeah starting tomorrow I'm going to stay away from this thread and r/pokemon to keep away from spoilers. I don't trust Game Freak to have properly scrubbed the demo.

@Tsurii Well B2W2 did have difficulty options that unlocked once you beat the game. I would love to have actual difficulty options available at the start though...

So I accidentally saw Alolan Muk and just decided to check out its description.

I know I already said it bothered me that Alolan Muk/Grimer are Dark type, but the fact that they have poisonous crystals in their bodies makes me even more annoyed. A unique Poison/Rock type for them would have been perfect. :/

The demo is out, I don't see it on the shop myself but there are a few people live streaming it now and serebii is posting analysis already.

Nothing surprisingly new pokemon wise, but Z-move's base power is based on the move it uses the Z move on.

(Thunderbolt is a 100BP move, using the Z crystal turns it into a 175BP move)

Water Shuriken is now a special move. Super Potion heals 60 HP now.

Now that demo is apparently out, as always, let's remember to be considerate and use the spoilers tags and stuff.

Specially if it's data mined.

Apparently the base stats of the Pokemon were scrubbed from the demo. I actually have hope now.

a new pokemon was revealed a few hours ago from TCG. It appeared in a card art for one of the bundles.

Remember when they data mined the ORAS demo and they didn't find anything new or interesting and we were optimistic that it was because it was just a demo?
