Ditto on the roulette wheel area selection. I suppose its supposed to make sense in some Wizard of Oz how do I land this balloon kind of way but that doesnt make it fun.
3 hours up to level 9 when the King lets you do the 2nd challenge. I wont be spending any money so Ill see how it goes. I still have 23 jewels and over 3000 coins but I had enough for today.
They did put a lot in there for a free game, seems like a fuller experience than $18 Blast U. I like the Mii integration, though watching my Mii almost die while I played as Pikachu was odd. But the Nintendo Land like plaza was a nice touch. My Mii and Laliatta (sp) Pokemon keep making hearts at each other. Its a little touch, but something I flet Rumble U was lacking.
I can see myself playing for awhile at least, hard to tell right now. My 3DS doesnt leave the house but with a lot of Spotpass hits this could be enjoyable.

One thing that really bothers me is there is a limit as to how many pokediamonds you can buy.. which is 3000.. this means total. Litteraly, if you buy, spend, and waste all 3000 you're screwed as you can't buy more. I noticed this when I went to buy more pokadiamonds, it says "You can buy 2750 more" when it said 3000 before I purchases the 250 diamonds (and wasted them all).
I don't think I'll run out of 3000 anytime soon but I fear the day I do as this seems like a very time consuming game.. I'll probably waste it all inflating the baloons.
If you buy 3000 diamonds you get the VIP status. You get a digging machine that gives you 20 diamonds every day and inflating any balloon takes 1 diamond. At least that's what I read from Serebii.
Wow, this game is fun! Really funny, it's addicting! I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I am but I'm pleasently surprised. I started playing and now it's suddenly one in the morning... And that was without spending any gems.
This is a much better example of free to play than Shuffle. Prices are actually fair too if you ask me. For only 50 cents I'll definitely buy a few diamonds while they're on sale.
So how is the game so far? shuffle pretty much turned me off from this with it's microtransactions and limited time events, is there any special pokemon that is out for a week or something in this?
Nah, no pointless events. Which is great considering that was one thing that turned me off from even starting shuffle.. all the content I missed and will never be able to get.

And what's the events like? what are you rewarded with?
If you mean daily challenges, they're special dungeons you play through with multiple challenges to complete in it for the day. You're reward with either 2 diamonds or 5 diamonds depending the challenge you beat and so far there have been 4 or 5 challenges for dungeon.
I think he means the global limited time events (like rayquaza, keldeo, etc in shuffle). Where you only had a specific time window to capture them.. and even if you did they were pretty pointless other than for collection value.. and if you missed them, tough luck.
In rumble there is nothing like that, nothing you have to do in a specific time window, however there is a "daily special" thing in the shop where there are limit items to buy, but they're just decorative and nothing more for your mii character specifically, you don't miss out on much.. or anything for that matter.

Has anybody unlocked mega evolution yet? I'm rank 29 already, have the dark balloon, and completed round 5 of the king's challenges.. I did fight a Mega Banette during the last "wizard battle" but other than that I haven't unlocked the ability to mega evolve yet and would like to know when..
The one thing I really dislike about the game is that it punishes you for leveling up. What's the point of waiting longer for balloons to refil as your rank goes up?
Also does it say anywhere how long the sale on the diamonds will last?
The game's not bad but does feel cheap, I wonder if the other Pokémon Rumble games sold poorly (for a Poke-game) which led to it being free like Steel Diver.
Well thanks for the replies, downloaded and tried the first level, not sure if I will keep it or not, probably will delete it to make room for a certain Pokemon thing that I really care for...that would be Mewtwo smash DLC!
Anyone have any tips for beating the Lv. 13 challenge (the one where you have to protect your Mii from the Magician)? I keep getting defeated in the Water area thanks to all of the status effects they keep throwing out (Confusion, decreased Accuracy).
I'm not exactly sure which one that is.. (there are a couple challenges like that as you rank up)
Is it the one with the restraunt? If that's the case just bring your fastest, hardest hitter and protect your mii. Destroy all the cannons if those are there I forget, they take several hits, same as the towers. Just hit anything moving toward your mii. Don't go too far ahead of him.. let the pokemon target him and you can take them out as they charge their attacks.
I think you get those if you and a friend are playing the game at the same time. I'm not entirely sure.. I only got one friend who randomly appeared when I opened the game back up this morning, and last night he was racing me to get this or that mon so we were on the same time.
