Earlier today, I was playing a bit of Pokémon Shuffle (I had 291 Play Coins at the time). I quit the game and put my 3DS in sleep mode. The next time I used my 3DS (about an hour or so later), I noticed that I now had 300 Play Coins, which is odd as I didn't take the 3DS anywhere with me today (the daily step count was "2" when I stopped playing Pokémon Shuffle and the step count is still 2).
Has anybody else experienced similar occurrences? Surely there's an exploit in there somewhere. Incidentally, this is the first time that this has happened (that I am aware of).
I've had play coins not turn up for a day after moving around - it's happened a couple of times. Perhaps that happened to you - the coins you earned a day ago have finally turned up.
You're right. I took my 3DS out with me yesterday for a romantic candlelit dinner and it didn't count my steps (the step counter only had a reading of 198 that evening). I've just checked my Activity Log and the entry for Wednesday was updated, indicating the correct number of steps that I had walked that day.
