Topic: People who bought a 3DS at Best Buy!!

If you bought a 3DS right before the price drop at Best Buy, they will refund you the difference between the old and new prices! Act fast, however, because their price match guarantee only lasts 30 days after your purchase. My brother and I just got got a combined $160 back plus tax!

So, Best Buy is actually making good on this? Awesome. I'll be there on Sunday.

My sister and I did this. I made sure to buy the warranty after the price drop, because the original price put it in a more expensive warranty range. I bought it before the price drop with that in mind to get both.

I bought mine too late, and it's from Walmart (they do price matching too).

I have a problem with this. Nintendo is giving out 20 free games to make up for the price drop, there is no reason for Best Buy or others to allow a refund. Hell, Nintendo didn't even have to compensate at all. If there was no compensation from Nintendo directly, I would be fine with these refunds, but because there is, I think those who decided to buy the 3DS at original price should have to live with it, and enjoy their compensation. I don't think they should get 20 games and a refund. It is a loophole that, in my selfish view, pans out poorly for those who couldn't afford a 3DS in the first place.

We've heard it all before. Sorry, but it's already happened, so you're just going to have to get over it. This coming from the guy who got a 3DS at day one, by the way.

lmao wow someone is bitter. Is someone mad that they don't get refunded for what they paid? It's the company's choice if they choose to refund their customers or not separate from what Nintendo is offering. Guess what I bought mine at Gamestop and I get compensated jack squat from them, but I still don't wish others to have to go without compensation from wherever they bought theirs from.
