Topic: Noob Pokemon help?

Hey, I've never really been "super pro" at Pokemon before, so I've been having trouble organizing a team.
What team (including non post game mega stones) would be the most diverse and powerful? I have a choice of Greninja, Charizard, Garchomp, Gardevoir, Yveltal, Lucario, Lapras, Tyrantrum, Scolipede, Talonflame, Snorlax, Axew, and Goomy. I can also go catch something like a Phantump or Rotom if need be. Including legendaries, what would be my best non-post game team?

i use a delphox, xerneas, and ivysaur to sweep the entire elite four.
the rest of the team usually doesn't matter as long as you finish super training and pokemon amie for those 3.
