It seems that Nintendo has discovered a great method of making the 3DS popular. While they remake and refinish all the classic games we grew up with with 3D effects and better graphics, 3rd party companies work on bringing all new games to the haldheld's library. Brilliant!!

It's not the first time Nintendo has milked franchises, don't get your hopes up on getting all the games you want and at a decent price. You know Zelda OoT will be 29-40 bucks when they release it on the 3DS. I don't care if it's 3D or not, it's over a decade old and NOT worth 30 bucks, no game over a decade old is worth that much.

I've heard a lot of complaints about Nintendo rehashing old stuff for the 3DS, but honesty I wouldn't have it any other way. They're pretty much guaranteed to be great, they just won't be very innovative or new. While I'm all for innvoation and whatnot, I always find myself going back to many of the tried-and-true old games from past generations. I especially love remakes since they take older games and bring 'em up to today's standards. I'd happily pay $40 a piece for greatly enhanced games such as Yoshi's Island, but I'm sure not everyone else feels the same way and some old games would arguably have more "value" than others.
Or if they had them in the supposed "3DSWare" that might be best. Just cute little affordable remakes.
There's a video of it out now. I saw all of the titles Reggie confirmed except Mystery of Murasame Castle, probably because they guy stopped when he got to Metroid. Also it seems Kirby's Adventure has been added to the mix. It's at the very beginning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MxR5U4QLLs&feature=player...

Huh, I seem to recall someone else, Miyamoto or Iwata, saying these were shown purely for demonstrational purposes, but I don't recall where. It'd be neat to see old games with pop-up effects, or just to make the characters, enemies, and moveable objects appear raised. Not sure how I feel about the prospect of buying all these games I just bought on VC though...
So we're supposed to be excited about them rehashing old games? Especially annoying is that Nintendo has repackaged some of these titles more than once.
