Topic: nintendo UK already advertising super mario 3D land and mario kart 7

well i got on the bus today to get home and at the bus stop near the swimming pool theres a red 3DS advertisement but not only is it adverising the new color its adveritsing SM3DL and MK7as the red 3DS is playing SM3DL is nintendo counting on these two games

Well my son loves my 3DS but apart from my abassador games he is happy playing with his DSi....until these games come out
Since he has watched the trailers of SM3DL, MK7, PaperMario etc. he really wants a 3DS, dont get me wrong he liked playing on mine all the time and was always asking me if I had any Streetpasses when we were out and about, but as a typical 8 year old there wasnt a great deal of exclusive 3DS games that he was interested in.
With the line up of games that are being released during November and December I can really see Nintendo appealing to its younger consumers so yes I think Nintendo is counting on these games, at least to pull in the kids over the Christmas holidays.

I'm fairly certain Nintendo knows what sells systems to the casual consumer (Mario Platformers, Mario Kart), so they're probably gonna be promoting the s*** out of them this holiday season to increase their consumer base and try to draw in the casuals before Vita launches.

But the casuels won't be buying the vita so that argument is out. All the casual applications sony showed fit and feel more natural on phones. Not to mention that a march launch at $250 failed with the 3DS.

I was in Game the other day buying fifa 12 and the guy behind the counter said I could pre-order both games already.
