Hi,
I just received my New 3DSXL. I'm pretty sure the the upper screen is an IPS, since I tested the viewing angles and I get a clear Image from all sides. But I noticed that the lower touch screen always seems to be a little brighter than the upper screen. And also that the upper screen has more recognizable pixel/scanlines. So is this normal for a New 3DSXL that the Brightness of both displays are different? I turned Auto Brightness and Economy Mode On/Off but it there was no differnce

Sorry I can't help. Just wish i didn't read this because I think my Hyrule N3ds has that other crappy TN upper screen

Messed up that Nintendo is selling all N3DS as the same when in fact the screen could be IPS or TN, blah.
