Topic: New 3DS Screens not turning on, but power light is on

I was playing Fire Emblem: Shadows of Valentia and the game suddenly froze and the colors went a little weird, like green and red in horizontal lines across the screen. I turned of the 3DS and left if for a few hours. When I came back the power light would turn on but the screen wouldn't. I've tried taking out the game cartridge, the sd card, and all combinations of one of them in and one of them out, but the same problem was happening.

I saw some videos on YouTube where people said their WiFi card got disconnected so they opened up the back of the 3DS and reconnected it. However none of the screwdrivers I have can properly take out the screws on the back on the 3DS. I was wondering whether I should just buy the right kind of screwdriver and see if the WiFi card is the problem or if I should just take it into a repair shop.

I would advise you to contact Nintendo support directly or go to a game shop offering repair services unless you are familiar with delicate electronics.
