Do you have the American or European version? If you have the European version, it's a kart you haven't unlocked yet. If you have the American version it's the European name for the Zucchini.

I love my combo. its all mini turbo (i posted this before but whatever)

Lakitu+Barrel train+Roller+beast glider. its a great combo but its really light and bad speed. so yeah...

That's exactly what I use, except I use paraglider.

I always use the little Shy Guy + Soda Jet + Slick wheels + Swooper. The swooper I use maybe because I only have like 3 gliders and the swooper gives me a little more acceleraion, but besides that I love it for the great speed and the low handling.

I think that off road isn't as important as handling, just because if you have good handling, you shouldn't be going off road anyways.

Same here! The only thing I don't have is the Gold Standard, it shouldn't take too much longer as I have 6500+ VR already.
Don't any of you care about your mini-turbo? That along with acceleration and (to a lesser degree) handling are the only stats I really care about, everything else is just a bonus for me.

I can certainly relate to that...although I thought that's what the stability stat was for? Because I use a very light kart with high stability and at least when I'm drifting I seem to be quite resistant to getting knocked around by even the heaviest karts. Maybe it's just me, I don't know.

@NeonShell7: i race pretty light (Toad's mah boi atm) so i get knocked around quite a bit. i usually make up for it with acceleration, mini-boosts, and general strategy/track knowledge, though. practice makes perfect :3

I use Rosalina + B Dasher + Standard Wheels + Paraglider. The handling is good enough, a lot of speed, drifting goes well..
For me is speed and acceleration important. Handling too, but too much handling is not too good either. But why Rosalina, do you think? Every character has his/her own stats. Rosalina and Wiggler have the same, and if I have to choose between those two, I'll definitely choose Rosalina.

Speaking of getting knocked off: SNES RAINBOW ROAD. It's one of my favorite stages but using a lightweight, I'm guaranteed to get knocked off at least once per race on that track. It's usually after I get hit by an item and I'm a sitting duck. The people always go after me and knock me off. And then I usually go from places 1-3 to places 6-8. Not cool.

I even get knocked off as a heavyweight when hit by lower weight classes, so I have given up on playing anyone but Shy Guy in versus races unless I'm playing a bunch of chumps (i.e. Lz) or it's a small group and I am not as worried about constant collisions.

Don't copy me but this works for me at the front of the pack, no one can catch when I get 10 coins without an item swarm and it packs enough off road and acceleration for the abuse. However I find that one on one, the right kart can straight out class me but in a group this seems to work no matter what,
Mii (Wish it would not cruse) + Barrel Train (I Like Trains!) + Wooden Wheels (They balance things out and look best with the train body) + Paraglider (It looks good and gives me acceleration because who needs weight?)

@theblackdragon are we going to have that race still someday?

I was planning to drop after that race. When I fell off at the very end I saw no reason to wait since VR means nothing to me. Those were some good races. I hadn't raced in awhile. Been playing battle mode instead lately.

And yea, I don't get to a computer often enough to BL it up. Everyone who messages me there has my email anyway.

Oh, no. I don't. I do tend to come off that way, so no offense. It's just that I have three stars on every cup, and around half of the races I finished with five or less coins due to being bombarded by items. You don't have to fall to eighth, either. If you're second place half the time, you'll probably get 2 stars. Even if for the last lap and a half of every race you were first. I'm going to probably test this eventually by using a speed build and winning all four races with as few coins as I can manage. It's possible that coins have some effect, but I've always found it to be based on percentage of time in first. I've been Shocked and Shelled right before the finish line bringing me down to 3-4 coins multiple races in a row and gotten 3 stars. Perhaps it is a balance?

Also, sorry if I came off as arrogant. Maybe I was in a bad mood.

25% seems... a little low. I have yet to lead only 25% of the time and get three stars. Although, I generally reset if I'm playing so bad, or the items are flying around so much, that I'm not in first most of the time against the CPUs.

So. I get modded for an actual valid question about MK7 in the comments? I mean no malice, sorry. I would never go into the Nintendo Life community, glitch, then change my name. I just wanted to know if there's any way to even prevent that. I haven't made a community of my own, but AFAIK you can't ban someone? If so, it'd be nice if the creator of a community could do that. I literally want to know if it even helps to name glitchers, since they can change their names. I'm not trying to be snarky, or malicious. Is it that you're scared someone would've seen it? People change their names all the time online. Anyone who would think of doing such a thing to avoid detection in a community as a glitcher/cheater will already be doing so.

Look, mate. Apparently everyone thinks I'm out to uh, you-know-what in their Cheerios. I'm not. I just seem to come off that way when I legitimately want to know a effing answer to a valid question. Meh. Why do I bother. Might as well leave now. <_<
