Where is everyone? I'm on NL Items if anyone wants a game, I've been waiting for the past 10 minutes for somebody to race!!!

Ehh what? There are time trial leaderboards... for each track you get ghost data from others of your skill level and you also get the current best. You can see your ranking compared to others in the Singleplayer->Time Trials section.

Has anyone here finished the game? As in completed all the courses on 50, 100, 150cc and Mirror, not 3 stared everything. I'm almost there, just the leaf and Lightening cup to go for me on Mirror!

On 50 and 100cc I have 3 stared every cup but on 150cc and Mirror it's kinda all over the place, but after I've finished the whole thing I'll go back and 3 star them all! Plus, what's everyones Play time? Just checked for the first time and noticed I've had a massive 25hours 4 minutes already!!! I think about 5 of those hours were online.

I got this yesterday. Great game. Just unlocked all the characters and will start playing online later this week after I add some people.

Do you drive faster overall if you have more coins like in SMK, or is it just the small instant boost?

I don't see much of any difference when having 10 coins or anything. Probably a small boost.

I think having more coins increases your top speed a little, but I'm not sure. If it does, you probably don't notice it because it's only by a small amount and there's nothing to compare it to.

I think we can all agree this Mario Kart has the best music in the series! :3

Yep

Instruction manual (folded piece of paper) says yes coins do increase you overall speed along with that boost.

I wish I could also use the gyro controls when not in first person mode. Though, playing on Rainbow Road in first person feels like a rollercoaster ride.

i dont understand why people/ghosts with the exact same kart and charakter are still faster than me on straight parts of the tracks. the developers ghosts are always a bit faster even though i choose the same karts and charakters

I agree. I keep coming second against Nin*Saki on Daisy Hills. Tried the Kart combination, I'm still a lt slower on straight parts!

I always get error messages and can only seem to play one person at a time most of the time.

That's unfortunate. TBH It was quite juttery when I was racing against you, lots of times on Rainbow road it showed you fall of Rainbow Road. Then I'd see you start to levitate back on, lol. Still, seing as we're on completely opposite sides of the world, it worked pretty well!

Ok, I'm attempting Gyro online. I'll let you know how it works out.
