The 3DS is clearly not build for people with long fingers or big hands. I didn't realize it until Ihad to constantly use the shoulder buttons. Yesterday after a bit of playing this game I started sufferiing from severe hand pain and eventually lost all feeling in my thumb.
It seems a lot of people are suffering from the same pain. I found that switching from the "A" button to the "Y" button for accelerate helps a ton. It takes pressure of the rigid corner off your palm and puts your hand in a more natural state. Hope this helps, it made it a lot better for me.

I'll have to try that. My hand is a bit sore from yesterday.
I might have to try the Y button for the accelerator too sometime soon as holding down the A button for several hours for three days straight makes one sore thumb.

Yeah, I used Y right from the start. Using the circle pad was painful at first, but it seems to be getting better - I can play 2/3 cups in a row now. I've also ordered a 3DS grip, which will hopefully make it more comfortable.
yeah the 3ds is too small for big hands...but i dont wnat the 3ds to be as big as the first xbox controller. that would be so comfortable but to big for a pocket
Honestly this game has been a disappointment all around. It's WAAY lighter on content than I expected and there aren't any sort of Time Trial leaderboards. How do the ghost get uploaded to big broth...I mean Nintendo anyway?

thats something i havent figured out either. racing against ghosts is cool but no online leaderboards??
Do the different gliders do anything different? Aside from the standard glider, they all have the same stats that I've seen so far, and even the standard glider barely changes your stats.
Yeah. I used Peach's Parasol and noticed that it lets you stay more afloat than say the hang glider. I tried the sunflower once and didn't like it much because it didn't keep me up much longer- maybe because of the weight of my kart. Not soo sure.
The paragliders have extremely subtle differences and some are even just cosmetic differences. Paraglider adds .25 acceleration and removes .25 weight over Standard glider. The easiest way to tell is switch between them and keep am eye on stats.
From looks of it they gliders effect stats the least. In order of importance for stat variation I think it looks like this:

Really? I think this game has an extensive anmount of conten, especially online.
