EDIT: It's weird how Wario has to be unlocked... And how eerily similar the proposed starting character selection in MK7 is close to Super Mario Kart had DK Jr. came back to replace Donkey Kong.

As for Waluigi- remember on DS they had Baby Park but Baby Mario and Baby Luigi weren't in those games. But yes, it's weird how so far, Waluigi has not appeared or just won't. Always thought "Where there's Daisy, Waluigi is there."
I can't tell if there is an actual glass wall around this area or if they just have invisible walls surrounding the track now to prevent huge shortcuts with glider exploits.

Nooooo sense of realism-destroying glass walls! They've plagued my young gamer mind ever since Kirby Air Ride.

I'm pretty sure that that's a glass wall around the track he was trying to enter, but as of right now, there's no way to be certain.
I really hope this game is better than Mario Kart DS, though, I was greatly underwhelmed by it. The DS tracks were mediocre for the most part, and they are greatly overrated (just play some MKWii Wi-Fi and see everyone vote for Yoshi Falls and Delfino Square). Anyways, the lack of many unlockable characters and karts in DS wasn't too great, and the unlockable characters weren't too great (except for Dry Bones, he's awesome). It's nice to see that 7 looks more like Wii, as I thought Wii was the best in the series.
The fact that this game doesn't have vs. mode for single player is a huge disappointment for me. I was hoping to try out each track separately when I got the game and when I unlocked some new ones but now I can't do that. I know I've mentioned double dash being my second favourite in the series but thats a home console title and there people who like multi-player gaming in my house so I could do that in multi-player but I can't do the same with MK7. I'll still get it on release day but I'm not looking forward to it as much now.

@pikky I guess thats better than nothing but I would much rather be racing against others instead of just trying to beat my own times. I sometimes played time trials but just to get a good time but that wasn't often. I only really play them to race against other people's ghost data, to unlock things and try out some hard shortcuts.

The big smear on this game right now for me is no single player VS. I can't wrap my head around why that got cut, and to be honest, makes me wonder what else may be lacking in comparison to what's available in the game's multiplayer. That mode has been my favorite in the past two Mario Kart titles, DS especially. Will still try and keep an open mind with the game, and look forward to its release on Dec. 4th.
