Topic: Least Favorite Mario Kart Item (all mario karts)

I had a big debate today at school with some of my friends on the worst power ups of all time from the mario kart series, from 1 to 7.

In my opinion it has to go to blooper, honestly i've never once crashed or hit a banana cause I had stupid ink on my screen,
then again some of my friends said that DK and Diddy super banana from Double Dash was a bad one too, cant seem to disagree with that either lol.

So whats your guys take on the crappiest item in the mario kart series? Dont forget the super power ups from Double Dash either!

Anyway, there's nothing quite like desperately trying to catch up to first place and getting two or three straight Super Leaves.

lol my bad broham, and yah the super leave isn't that great, I only like it when I'm in first place to I can hit bananas, incoming shells and other players.

Thunder Cloud. I can't even express...

Every time I get a blooper I groan.

Definitely the Lucky 7. Every time I get it someone runs into me and hits the Bobomb, causing both of us to fly into the air and end up last.

To be hit with, shells. To get and to slip on, bananas. Tanooki tail, only when I have no one to smack it with.

Thunder Cloud is pretty bad. Although the idea of having to bump into someone to get rid of it was kind of fun I have to admit

Is it cliche to say the Blue Shell? Its so dumb in my opinion, all it does is discourage being in first place. For instance when playing online I'm better off just staying in second place, because online if you get hit once, everyone passes you. Very annoying. However, I'm glad Mario Kart 7 made strides to make the Blue Shell a little more fair, hitting everyone else along the way to whoever is in first place.

I don't like the Blue Shell except the one in MK7. I just wish it wouldn't explode when it hits the 1st person but just nail them and send them flying.

I would have to say the thunder cloud from Mario Kart Wii (at least I think its from MK Wii). Not only do you actually have to bump into some one to use it but it automatic is used on you upon picking it up, and it seems that whenever I do get it there is no one around me to bump to give it to so I get hit with it.

lol I forgot all about the thunder cloud! I remember I use to literally pull over and bumb into someone >.>

Blooper. Effing useless item

what annoys me the most is when i`m out infront and i get the triple combo of a red shell, lightning and blue shell (not necessarily in that order) all in quick succession.
i`ve noticed this more in MK7 than the other games. and the worst thing about it is that the majority of times it`s pretty much guaranteed to happen at the last section of the final lap.
bananas are ok, i find them usefull for defending myself against shells, or putting them in awkward sections of the track. doing that will cause people to slow down to avoid it, or hit it and spin out.

Sure, you can bump into someone else and pass it to them, but when playing online with crappy Internet, that's easier said than done.
